This Privacy Policy is for the mobile application currently known as Sher (“the App”) and covers all of the information that the App gathers in any method or from any third party vendor, how we use and disclose personal data, and the steps taken to protect your data. By using the App, the user understand and agrees that the App is providing a platform for the user to post content and other material to the App and a user can share that information with a specific individual or group of users. Additionally, by creating an account with the App, you are consenting to the privacy practices described in this policy.

 

What information the App collects:

When a user signs up for the App, you may provide and we may collect information that could help others specifically identify individuals. This could include information that the App collects by itself or from third-party vendors. Examples can include, name, phone numbers, pictures, usernames, email address, events your attending, and list of friends. When combined with additional pieces of information, the user may be identified by others. You may provide us with personal information in various ways. This could include:

 

• When signing up/ log in

• When the user allows the App to access social media accounts (ex. might include Facebook)

• Posting comments about the App on third-party sites

• Sending customer service requests

• When the user allows the App to access their phones address book 

 

The App will only collect personal information that is reasonably required to provide the user with the best experience possible for the services provided by the App. The App has purposely tried to limit the amount of data collected. At a users own risk, he or she can use pseudonym information and can interact with the App anonymously. If the user decides to follow this option, the App cannot guarantee the best experience possible for the services provided. Please note that if the user interacts with the App using pseudonym information, the App may no longer be able to provide services to that individual.

 

How we use personal data:

The App uses information that the App collects in a variety of ways to provide services to the Apps users. This could including the following:

 

• We may use the information to operate, maintain, enhance, and provide features for a users benefit and enjoyment, to respond to comments and questions, and to provide support to users.

• We may use the information to create a profile page for the user

• We may use the information to connect the user with friends and family members

• We may use the information to help other users differentiate friends and family members who have similar names or have similar appearances

• We may use the information to track user-generated content to comply with applicable laws

• We may use the information to analyze user trends to improve the App and develop new products

• We may use the information to regulate content generated by users on the App

 

How we disclose personal data:

In the App, the user will be able to see various pieces of information the App has asked for, either by requiring the user to fill in information or by the user allowing access to third-party sites, to help identify one user from another. This may show up in various forms in the App in various products, services, or features of the App. The App may also disclose information to confirm the identity of a user when that user is requesting support. The App may also disclose information during the sign in or login process to confirm the identity of the user. The App maintains the right to disclose personal information of a user on the App when it is relevant for a product, service, support, or feature a part of the App.

 

Currently, the App will not disclose the information generated by the App or obtained through third parties to any individual, company, or agency requesting access to our user's information. All information that the App pulls or creates will not be used for any purpose other than to help the App provide new products, services, and features, to improve existing products, services, and features, and to provide support to the App’s users.

 

Steps taken to protect a users information:

The App takes precautions to limit the amount of information seen by other users. For example, a user might see a profile picture and name of another user, but a user will not be able to see another users friend list. To make the App’s products, services, and features work smoothly, some information might be available to other users. The App strives to only make the necessary information available to the necessary users when it is needed for the App’s products, services, and features.

 

The App does not allow other users to change or alter another users information. When applicable, the App only allows other users to see certain pieces of personal information. The App will never change a users personal information without the consent of that user, and the App will take all the necessary precautions to confirm the identity of that user before the information is altered.

 

The App understands that a user is allowing the App to access personal information about a user, and the App will do everything in the App’s power to protect that information from users. Firebase Real-time Data:

Legal:

The App has the rights to disclose any information as needed to satisfy any law, regulation, or legal request, your legal request, or to corporate with any law enforcement agency or investigation.

 

Children under 13 years old:

The App does not intend to collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with personal information without their consent, he or she should contact us by emailing GetSherNow@gmail.com. If we become aware that a child under the age of 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete such information from our files.

 

Changes to the policy:

The App has the right to update the policy and change this policy as needed. We recommend that the user regularly checks this policy to see if the App has updated their privacy policy. If the App make modifications that alter your rights or obligations, the App will make reasonable efforts to update you about the policy. This might include sending the user a message to their email address, if we have one on file, or generating a pop up while logging in to the App or similar notification when using the App for the first time after the change in our privacy policy.

California Privacy Rights:
